The Blue Merle Approach

We feel that we have a good product range, to cope with most of the problems encountered on the farm. The following is an example of the type of approach that we use to treat both animal and the farm holistically. Many farmers say that once they have been with us for some time, they feel that we are part of their farm. We can think of no greater compliment.

Mastitis nosode.

This is a broad spectrum nosode made from many samples to cover as many types of mastitis causing organisms as possible. It is the starting point for any homeopathic control of mastitis, helping to maintain a healthy udder.

Summer Mastitis

As above, but with specific aim at the more common types of organism encountered in the summer months. Summer mastitis is also known as August Bag.

Cell Count

With dairies now paying a premium for low cell count milk, this product is targeted to reduce the somatic cell count in milk.

BVD

This causes so many other problems such as high cell count and mastitis, as well as fertility problems and so on. It forms part of a package to control mastitis on many farms. It can be the underlying cause of so many problems.

Liquid Minerals, Vitamins and Trace Elements

A chelated blend used three or four times a year. Easy to use, simply add to the drinking water, or if necessary, as a drench.

A farm that uses the mastitis nosode, BVD nosode and the liquid minerals, in our experience, has a better herd udder health than those that dont use them.
