Farmer Peck's Yeast Concentrate

Farmer Peck's Yeast is described as an inactive dried yeast. It is yellow to brown in colour and is produced from ADY yeast grown by non alcoholic fermentation on molasses and is inactivated by pasteurisation during drying, in stem heated roller dryers.

Storage

The product will normally store for 24 months and should be stored in a cool, dry place, below 20 degrees C ( ambient temperature ). For optimum stability, reseal the container immediately after use.

It is highly palatable to all animals and may be fed as a mixture in home mix diets, incorporated into compound feed, or mixed with minerals.

Farmer Peck's Yeast Concentrate is fed at the following rates:

In home mix, or in compound: 1kg of Farmer Peck's Yeast Concentrate per tonne of feed.

In silage, or in minerals:

  • Adult cows/beef - 5 grams per head, per day.
  • Sheep - 2.5 grams per head, per day
  • Calves - 2.5 grams per head, per day.
